Perovskite optoelectronics

Our research strategy for perovskite materials is aimed at developing customized materials for optoelectronic devices. The development of these materials is not limited to energy level control using the central metal, which is the B element in the perovskite structure ABX3. We are conducting research to improve the stability of the material, which is a problem with halide perovskite, and to actively control the quantum well structure in perovskite by directly synthesizing organic cations with extended conjugation. Research is also underway to confirm the interaction of low-dimensionalization and photophysical properties by introducing various organic cations. These materials can be applied to photodetectors, light-emitting diodes, solar cells, and memristors.
